Meet the team
Amy Flynn
FOUNDER & PRINCIPAL
Amy brings more than 30 years of operating and consulting experience across pharmaceutical and medical device organizations.
Before her entrepreneurial journey, Amy spent the first half of her career in roles across the product value chain at leading life science organizations including Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, and Whatman Bioscience. She went on to lead the Global Life Science Industry Practice for Grant Thornton and launched the Life Science Consulting Practice for alliantConsulting.
Amy serves on the advisory board of Consuli, a patient-centered Public Benefit Company recognized by Prix Galien USA as an innovator for helping individuals take control of their personal health information. She also serves as Regulatory and Quality Officer for Delphine Diagnostics, a startup bringing a rapid PCR-based sepsis test to market.
Janani Sharma
ASSOCIATE CONSULTANT
Janani holds a B.S. in Bioengineering from Northeastern University and brings more than 3 years of diverse experience spanning pharmaceutical R&D, biotech SaaS start-up BD, life sciences supply chain compliance SaaS sales, and life sciences consulting.
She began her career at Pfizer, where she used statistical design of experiments to improve cell culture processes for CHO cell production. She later became the first business development hire at Radix Labs, an YC-backed/MIT-incubated biotechnology startup, before joining TraceLink, where she was named Global SDR Rookie of the Year. Today, she helps medical affairs teams with their commercial launches, developing training materials, and analyzing field insights to help teams address questions from healthcare providers.
Outside of work, Janani enjoys exploring how large language models can be used to build practical AI agents, and is a Grammy-nominated vocalist!
Catherine Speir
INTERN
Catherine is a sophomore studying International Business at Northeastern University's D'Amore-McKim School of Business, with a minor in Mandarin.
At CatMa, she supports digital marketing, manages the company website and LinkedIn page, and helps with operations and financial tracking.
